Kanmi Sabou “Sanomachi-An” is a facility where you can interact with people and enjoy experiences via Japanese food culture.
This facility was renovated from a former liquor store and is just a 5-minute walk from Izumisano Station on the Nankai Main Line. Originally built during the Taisho period, it retains some of the original equipment and fusuma (traditional sliding paper doors).
Mochi used to make their signature dango is carefully handmade in the store. Using local fruit and other ingredients, they are planning to create seasonal menu items.
While the entrance area is used as a café, tatami rooms on the first and second floors are used for tea ceremonies and Japanese sweets-making experiences as well as workshops and seminars that promote women’s empowerment.
